I.T.T.R. BPSMV , Khanpur Kalan B.P.S.I.T.T.R. BPSMV, Khanpur Kalan Abstract The present study was designed to study the relationship between psychological hardiness and life satisfaction. The difference between the psychological hardiness of married and unmarried pupil teachers and life satisfaction of married and unmarried pupil teachers was also studied. The sample of 100 pupil teachers i.e. 50 married and 50 unmarried were selected from four different education colleges of Sonepat district at random. Life satisfaction scale by Q.G Alum and R. Srivastva and Psychological scale of hardiness by Singh’s were used to collect. No significant difference in life satisfaction as well as in psychological hardiness of married and unmarried pupil teachers was found. But there was found a significant relationship between life satisfaction and psychological hardiness of pupil teachers. KEYWORDS: Psychological hardiness, life satisfaction, relationship INTRODUCTION Education is a systematic process by which one gains knowledge, skills, experience and sound attitude. It makes one refined, Cultured and civilized. It influences person’s affective, psychomotor and cognitive domains and enables him to deal with the emotions, bodily process and the skills related to cognition such as critical thinking and achievement. It prepares the individuals to deal with the hardships of life that come across him. It helps him to develop such attitude that it learns to adjust or adopt itself in the society, makes the life easier, and lead him to the ultimate goal life satisfaction i.e. requirement of a good life.
