I magine the following scenario: Ms. Thomas (all teacher names are pseudonyms), a third-grade teacher, is thrilled that she just received a class set of iPads to use with her students. Through a profes- sional conference she attended, she learned about many of the unique features of the iPad and has heard from her principal and literacy coach that it is important to inte- grate digital technology into her literacy instruction.
