After critical laboratory observation of grass species and literature survey has revealed the addition of two new grass species for the Madhya Pradesh state. Their vegetative and reproductive morphology was studied in detail and differences with their allied species are mentioned here. Keywords: Grass, Madhya Pradesh, New distribution, Poaceae
