Com a necessidade de aprimorar o desenvolvimento da área existe a possibilidade de realizar vínculos teóricos com outras temáticas que colaborem para a sua evolução. Partindo dessas ideias, o objetivo desta pesquisa é ressaltar aspectos dos estudos de comportamento informacional e do conceito de relevância que possam colaborar para o desenvolvimento de interfaces de resultados de busca em sistemas de recuperação de informação. Neste sentido, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica contemplando tais áreas, na qual foram selecionados estudos que serviram como fundamentação teórica e forneceram subsídios para o levantamento de desafios da recuperação de informação, além de aspectos do comportamento informacional de usuários que confrontaram tais dificuldades. Com a pesquisa, foi possível constatar a existência de diversos pontos de convergência das áreas investigadas neste artigo, abrindo perspectivas para o desenvolvimento de soluções, que visam a melhorar a eficiência das interfaces de resultados de busca em sistemas de recuperação de informação. Abstract: An information retrieval has several nuclei of studies that act in the improvement of the search processes. With the need to improve the development of the area there is the possibility of making theoretical links with other themes that contribute to its evolution. Based on these ideas, the objective of this research is to highlight aspects of the studies of information behavior and the concept of relevance that can collaborate for the development of search results interfaces in information retrieval systems. In this sense, a bibliographic research was carried out contemplating these areas, in which were selected studies that served as theoretical foundation and provided subsidies for the challenge of the information retrieval challenges, as well as aspects of the informational behavior of users who confronted such difficulties. With the research, it was possible to verify the existence of several points of convergence of the areas investigated in this article, opening perspectives for the development of solutions, which aim to improve the efficiency of search results interfaces in information retrieval systems.
