Langkat, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia Email : ranifebriyanni1991@gmail.com Telp : +6285296755821 Abstract The research to determine the increase in student learning outcomes by applying the cooperative learning strategy type Numbered Head Together on the Prism and Limas material in class VIII Pondok Pesantren As-Salam Serapuh in the 2018/2019. This research is a PTK, The object of research is the implementation of the NHT. The research subjects of the class VIII were 32 students. the first learning outcome test, average score was 67.81% with 14 students (43.75%) completing their studies and 18 students (56.25%) who did not complete. the classical percentage has not reached > 85%, so the second cycle is carried out. In the second learning , the average score of students was 77.81% with 28 students (87.5%) completing learning while 4 students (12.5%) did not complete. Percentage having reached > 85%, classically complete. Based on the t test analysis on the learning outcomes test I ( 1 = 67,81) and the learning outcomes test II ( 2 = 77,81) obtained tcount (5.86)> ttable (1.6697), an increase in the average value obtained by students by 10. Through the NHT type cooperative learning strategy can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Cooperaive Learning Strategies Type NHT and Student Learning Outcomes Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran kooperaif tipe Numbered Head Together pada materi Prisma dan Limas dikelas VIII Pondok Pesantren As-Salam Serapuh Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Objek penelitian penerapan strategi pembelajaran kooperaif tipe NHT. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII berjumlah 32 siswa. Berdasarkan tes hasil belajar I, diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas 67,81% dengan 14 siswa (43,75%) tuntas belajar dan 18 siswa (56,25%) tidak tuntas. Dengan melihat persentase klasikal belum mencapai > 85% maka siklus I belum mencapai ketuntasan secara klasikal maka dilaksanakan tindakan siklus II. Pada tes hasil belajar II nilai rata-rata siswa 77,81% dengan 28 siswa (87,5%) tuntas belajar sedangkan 4 siswa (12,5%) tidak tuntas. Dengan persentase klasikal telah mencapai > 85% maka kelas ini dapat dinyatakan tuntas secara klasikal. Berdasarkan analisis uji t pada tes hasil belajar I ( 1 = 67,81) dan tes hasil belajar II ( 2 = 77,81) diperoleh ℎ (5,86) > (1,6697) , terlihat perbedaan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II atau terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa sebesar 10. Melalui strategi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
