PETROLEUM SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol. 22, Nos. 11 & 12, pp. 1513–1516, 2004 Prediction Enthalpy of Hydrocarbon Vapor at Atmospheric Pressure Emad Talib Hashim, * Iamir E. Maloka, and Sabah Yassin Ibrahim Al-Aqssam University, Engineering College of Sabratha, Sabratha, Libya ABSTRACT A generalized enthalpy-temperature correlation for light hydrocar- bon vapor has been developed to represent the data for a wide range of temperatures 460–1080 F. Detailed analysis shows that the proposed correlation fits the experimental measurements of vapor enthalpy with the corresponding calculated values with an overall absolute error of 1.8% for 131 data points. Key Words: Hydrocarbon; Vapor; Enthalpy. *Correspondence: Emad Talib Hashim, Al-Aqssam University, Engineering College of Sabratha, P.O.
