A qualitative descriptive research method is utilized to characterize the unemployment profile in the form tables and figures in order to attain this purposive. The data was then analyzed economically in light of the study’s objectives. The findings revealed that young peoples men of a certain sex and those with a high school/vocational degree or higher were the most unemployed in Maluku Province. The Largest regency/city is Ambon City, while the smallest is the South Buru Regency. Keywords: Covid-19, business field, unemployment ABSTRAK Tujuan yang akan dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil pengangguran di Provinsi Maluku. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggambarkan profil pengangguran dalam bentuk tabel dan gambar. Kemudian diinterpretasikan secara ekonomi sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah pengagguran di Provinsi Maluku didominasi oleh penduduk usia muda, jenis kelamin laki-laki serta berpendidikan SMA/SMK ke atas. Berdasarkan kabupaten/kota, maka Kota Ambon terbanyak dan terkecil Kabupaten Buru Selatan. Kata kunci: Covid-19, lapangan kerja, pengangguran
