Charlies Uilian de Campos Silva 45 Verônica Franciele Seidel 46 RESUMO: Este artigo procura construir e realocar um quadro teórico estabelecido a partir do Curso de Linguística Geral (CLG). Para isso, discorremos sobre os conceitos de língua, sistema e valor presentes no CLG, procurando compreender como tais conceitos se relacionam e como o processo tradutório poderia se configurar a partir de uma visão saussuriana da língua. Nesse sentido, o valor linguístico torna-se um elemento imprescindível para entender tanto a língua-sistema como as línguas-idiomas, de modo que, em nossa perspectiva, a articulação entre línguas e a passagem de uma língua à outra seria possível não pela correspondência entre o signo tomado como uma composição de significante e significado, mas pela reconstrução das redes associativas que configuram os valores linguísticos na/da língua posta em discurso. A língua-idioma configura-se justamente por ser um sistema distinto das outras línguas-idiomas: a particularidade de cada língua inviabiliza uma conversão completa duma língua noutra, fazendo com que a forma pela qual os termos de uma língua se configuram e se encadeiam no interior da própria língua não encontre correspondência plena na tradução. Traduzir um texto requer, assim, uma recriação das relações entre os signos no interior e por meio da língua-sistema; traduzir requer a reconfiguração das articulações, das combinações e, mesmo, das ausências dos signos e de seus valores no sistema linguístico. Dessa forma, a tessitura das articulações possíveis na/da língua é o elemento central e fundante de uma concepção de tradução como um processo de reconstrução de valores no interior de determinada língua. Traduzir é, então, a tarefa de reinaugurar os valores de uma língua noutra, tarefa que implica mobilizar a língua inteira, pois o valor linguístico só existe na complexidade dinâmica do sistema. ABSTRACT: This academic paper aims to build and reallocate a theoretical framework established from the Course in General Linguistics (CLG). For this, we discussed the concepts of language, system and value present in the CLG, trying to understand how these concepts are related and how the translation process could be configured from a Saussurean view of language. In this sense, the linguistic value becomes an essential element to understand both the language-system and language-idiom, so that, in our view, the relationship between languages and the passage from one language to another would be possible not by the correspondence between the sign considered as a composition of signifier and signified, but as the reconstruction of associative networks that create linguistic values in/of the language converted into discourse. The language-idiom is configured precisely because it is a distinct system compared to other languages-idioms: the particularity of each language obstructs a complete conversion of a language in another, which implies that the way in which the terms of a language are configured and linked into the language itself does not find full correspondence in translation. Translating a text therefore requires a re-creation of the relationships between the signs in and through the language-system; translating requires the reconfiguration of articulations, combinations and even the absence of signs and their values in the linguistic system. Thus, the construction of the possible articulations in/of language is the central and fundamental element of a conception of translation as a process of reconstruction of values in a given language. Translation is then the task of re-inaugurating values from one language to another, a task that involves mobilizing the whole language because the linguistic value exists only in the dynamic complexity of the system.
