Hadari Nawawi, Kota Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia *email: sriwahyuni199809@gmail.com Received: 2021-03-08 Accepted: 2021-12-28 Published: 2021-12-29 Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media video berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi sistem pernapasan sebagai media pembelajaran di kelas VIII SMP dan mengetahui respon yang diberikan siswa terhadap media video berbasis Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Developmant (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan meliputi analyze, design, develop, implement dan evaluate. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi media video berbasis Problem Based Learning, lembar validasi angket respon siswa yang divalidasi oleh 5 orang validator, dan angket respon siswa. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mandor. Hasil validasi yang dianalisis dengan rumus Aiken’s pada media video berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk aspek materi, media, dan kemanfaatan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,94 sehingga dinyatakan valid. Uji coba skala kecil diperoleh nilai rata-rata seluruh respon siswa (kognitif, afektif, dan konatif) sebesar 87,31% yang dinyatakan sangat kuat. Dari hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa video berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi sistem pernapasan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Abstract This research aimed to determine feasibility Problem Based Learning video media in the respiratory system topic, which suitable as a media of learning in Class VIII of Junior High, and determine the students' responses towards Problem Based Learning video media. This research was in Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model consisting of five steps: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The instrument used in this research was the Problem Based Learning media video's validation sheet, students' questionnaire's validation sheet validated by five validators, and the questionnaire of students' responses. The subject of this research was Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Mandor. The validation result analyzed using Aiken's formula to the Problem Based Learning video media for material, media, and the advantages aspect obtained mean score 0,94 stated as valid. The small testing received a mean score of all students' responses (cognitive, affective, and conative) with 87,31% stated as very strong. The result concludes that Problem Based Learning video media in respiratory system topic is suitable for media of learning. Keywords: PBL, Respiratory system, Response, Video media.
