Email : hamdani@yahoo.co.id ABSTRAK Arsip adalah rekaman kegiatan atau peristiwa dalam berbagai bentuk dan media sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang dibuat dan diterima oleh lembaga negara, pemerintah daerah, lembaga pendidikan, perusahaan, organisasi politik, organisasi kemasyarakatan dan perseorangan dalam pelaksanaan kehidupan bermasyarakat. Salah satunya Polres Kabupaten Bogor merupakan instansi pemerintah yang mempunyai tugas memelihara keamanan, menegakan hukum, memberikan perlindungan dan pelayanan terhadap masyarakat dan melayani pelayanan administrasi registrasi dan identifikasi kendaraan bermotor serta pengemudi yang didalamnya juga mengurus pengarsipan Buku Pemilik Kendaraan Bermotor (BPKB). Sistem informasi manajemen pengarsipan Buku Pemilik Kendaraan Bermotor (BPKB) yang ada di Polres Kabupaten Bogor masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal tersebut kurang efektif untuk memanajemen data setiap arsip BPKB yang masuk atau keluar tidak berjalan secara maksimal sehingga proses pelayanan data manajemen pengarsipan yang ada masih belum dikelola dengan baik. Sistem informasi manajemen atau sering dikenal dengan singkatannya MIS merupakan penerapan sistem informasi di dalam organisasi untuk mendukung informasi-informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh semua tingkatan manajemen. Model waterfall merupakan model klasik yang bersifat sistematis, berurutan dalam membangun software dan model ini juga melakukan pendekatan secara sistematis dan berurutan. Maka dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi manajemen pengarsipan BPKB di Polres Kabupaten Bogor berbasis web ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan informasi pengarsipan arsip BPKB, mempermudah dalam pengarsipan arsip BPKB di Polres Kabupaten Bogor dan hasil pengelolaan arsip BPKB secaara manual sekarang sudah menjadi digital. ABSTRACT Archives are recordings of activities or events in various forms and media in accordance with the development of information and communication technology made and accepted by state institutions, local governments, educational institutions, companies, political organizations, community organizations and individuals in the implementation of social life. One of them is the Bogor Regency Police, which is a government agency that has the task of maintaining security, enforcing the law, providing protection and services to the community and serving administrative services for registration and identification of motorized vehicles and drivers which also take care of filing the Motorized Vehicle Owner's Book (BPKB). The management information system for filing the Motorized Vehicle Owner's Book (BPKB) at the Bogor Regency Police is still done manually. This is less effective for managing data for each incoming or outgoing BPKB archive that does not run optimally so that the existing archiving management data service process is still not managed properly. Management information system or often known by the abbreviation MIS is the application of information systems within the organization to support the information needed by all levels of management. The waterfall model is a classical model that is systematic, sequential in building software and this model also takes a systematic and sequential approach. So it can be concluded that this web-based BPKB archive management information system at the Bogor Regency Police can be used to provide information on BPKB archives, make it easier to archive BPKB archives at the Bogor Regency Police and the results of manual BPKB archive management are now digital.
