FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA TERHADAP INDUSTRI KECIL DI KOTA MAKASSAR TAHUN 2009-2018 Andi Nur Fajar 1 Rizka Jafar 2 Email: rizka.jafar@uin-aalauddin.ac.id 1,2 Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi, Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar ABSTRACT The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out whether there is a positive and significant effect of investment capital on employment in small industries in Makassar City; 2) To find out whether there is a positive and significant effect of wages on employment in small industries in Makassar City; 3) to find out whether there is a positive and significant effect of the number of business units on the absorption of labor in small industries in Makassar City and 4) to find out the investment capital, wages and the number of business units have a positive and significant effect on the absorption of labor in small industries in Makassar City. This research is field research with quantitative methods. This research was conducted in a small industry in Makassar City. The time of the research implementation begins in January-February 2020. Data collection uses secondary data that is time series and analyzed using multiple linear regression through the SPSS 22 program. This study reveals that investment capital has a significant positive effect on employment in the small industrial sector; Wages have a significant negative effect on employment in the small industrial sector; The number of business units has a significant positive effect on employment in small industrial sector; and Investment capital, wages, and the number of business units simultaneously have a significant positive effect on employment in the small industrial sector in Makassar City. Keywords: Investment Capital, Wages, Number of Business Units, Labor Absorption ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan modal investasi terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri kecil di Kota Makassar; 2) Untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan upah terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri kecil di Kota Makassar; 3) untuk mengetahui apakah ada positif dan signifikan pengaruh jumlah unit usaha terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri kecil di Kota Makassar dan 4) Untuk mengetahui modal investasi, upah dan jumlah unit usaha secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri kecil di Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada industri kecil Kota Makassar. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai bulan Januari-Februari 2020 Pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder yang bersifat time series dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda melalui program SPSS 22.
