Neste sentido, grande parte do artigo foi dialogada com autores interdisciplinares que também problematizam e sistematizam as questões que nos apreciam na elaboração e execução dos projetos de pesquisa e extensão desenvolvidos no centro histórico de Porto Nacional – TO nos últimos três anos. Os resultados revelaram que os projetos Roteiro Geo-turístico e a confecção do mapa turístico para visitantes e/ou moradores podem ser uma das opções para desenvolver a educação patrimonial. Esses resultados despertaram para importância e relevância destes tipos de projetos para a preservação e/ou conservação do patrimônio cultural brasileiro. Abstract: This work is an interweaving between theoretical discussion and analysis of data on which we were involved, which can also be read with a reflection in the area of cultural heritage. In this sense, much of the product was dialogued with interdisciplinary authors wich also problematize and systematize the issues that appreciate us in the development and implementation of research and extension projects developed in the historic center of Porto Nacional - TO in the last three years. The results revealed that script Geo-tourist and the construction of tourist map for visitors and / or residents can be one of the options to develop the heritage education. These results have awakened to the importance and relevance of these types of projects for the preservation and / or conservation of the Brazilian cultural heritage.
