These categories of online learners find this blended for of learning as a new venture towards growth and development in career and profession. The current situation across the world has made it compulsory to take up online learning. The dream of Digital India has started materialising because of this pandemic situation however the researcher is very anxious to know what is the effect of such online learning among the university student the researcher has taken this study in the area of Rajasthan in a small university. The concept of digital learning been away from brick and mortar form of learning has definitely affected both positively and negatively in the career of university student the researcher has taken a very small sample to study such impact Key words : Education, technology, students, university Introduction Since ages Education has been the most important source of developing economy. let’s not forget the ages of Gurukul where high society were allowed to impart education. For any country’s economy the contribution of education has played very decisive role in framing the policies of the economy .let’s not forget the system of Shantiniketan where Rabindranath Tagore started educating students in open. Over a period of time when education started gaining momentum the government focused on regularising and bringing the service of education under the preview as a priority the growth and the development. From Shantiniketan to state, private, and foreign universities have gone through different phases of development. over decades the growth and the development of technology has contributed to education both positively and negatively Online learning is a very new form of education that has taken place with the growth in the development of technology. Thanks to government for initiating technological changes in education field right from primary up to professional education. what is the online learning it sounds very simple to understand what is online learning many scholars and researchers have given the definition of online learning. The researcher of the paper after reviewing many researches on the same topic has concluded that online learning includes technological know- how as a blended form of learning which separates educator and student distance wise whereas when it comes to knowledge there is no such separation. Sharing of knowledge discussion and doubt solving are still the same as of in off-line learning system Online learning is now seeing an increased proliferation of virtual training materials and online courses. Even in a world of tried and tested schooling systems and curricula, the most successful schools are the ones who adapt to the changing times, as well as to the expectations of students, parents and the society. If online education is here to stay, then what are its implications for traditional learning? Instead of focusing on pros and cons, the conversation we should be having today is about leveraging online education to make our education systems more conducive to learning.
