To find out, the researchers conducted an analysis of the increase in past sugar prices. the. Because of the turmoil, the problem of rising fuel oil (BBM) is currently a public discussion so that the price of basic commodities (sembako) has hit Indonesia. This survey was conducted on 12 shops in the Cirebon area. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. In this study the author uses a quantitative approach (case study). This research focuses intensively on one particular object which is studied as a case. The subject in this study is the owner of a basic food stall as a source of information and the object being studied is the price of sugar before and after the increase in fuel prices. From this study, it was found that the increase in fuel prices resulted in an increase in the price of sugar. From this price change, the mean data before the fuel price increase is 13,083 and after the fuel price increase is 14,042, the median before the fuel price increase is 13,250 and after the fuel price increase is 14,000, the mode before the fuel price increase is 13,000 and 14,000 and after the fuel price increase. of 14,000, the average deviation before the fuel price increase was 847.2 and after the fuel price increase was 972, and finally for the standard deviation before the fuel price increase was 2,623 and after the fuel price increase was 1,218. Keywords: Sugar, Basic commodition, the increase in fuel price, piece increases, basic food ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pengumpulan data yang menunjukan kenaikan harga bahan pokok gula pasir pasca kenaikan harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM). Untuk mengetahui hal itu maka peneliti melakukan analisis terhadap kenaikan harga gula pasir tersebut. Karena gejolaknya problematika kenaikan Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) yang sekarang ini menjadi perbincangan masyarakat sehingga kenaikan harga bahan pokok (sembako) melanda Indonesia. Survei ini dilakukan terhadap 12 toko di wilayah Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Penelitian ini memusatkan diri secara intensif pada satu obyek tertentu yang mempelajarinya sebagai suatu kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemilik warung sembako sebagai sumber informan dan objek yang ditelitinya yaitu harga gula pasir sebelum dan sesudah kenaikan harga BBM. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa kenaikan harga BBM mengakibatkan kenaikan harga gula pasir. Dari perubahan harga ini didapatkan data mean sebelum naiknya harga BBM sebesar 13.083 dan sesudah naiknya harga BBM sebesar 14.042, median sebelum kenaikan harga BBM sebesar 13.250 dan sesudah kenaikan harga BBM sebesar 14.000, modus sebelum kenaikan harga BBM sebesar 13.000 dan 14.000 dan sesudah kenaikan harga BBM sebesar 14.000, deviasi rata-rata sebelum kenaikan harga BBM sebesar 847,2 dan sesudah kenaikan harga BBM sebesar 972, dan terakhir untuk
