Na década de 1970, houve a titulação da propriedade das terras indígenas em favor de particulares. Em 1993, o Supremo Tribunal Federal julgou uma ação determinando a anulação dos títulos de propriedade. O objetivo deste artigo é buscar esclarecimentos sobre a juridicidade da trajetória do povo Krenak a partir da análise do acórdão. A análise documental esclareceu diversas questões acerca da juridicidade de eventos presentes na história Krenak. No século XX, eles viveram ameaçados por carimbos e espingardas. Carimbos que remetem à atuação estatal materializada nos títulos de propriedade, e espingardas, que remetem aos conflitos com produtores rurais, e às ações do regime militar. A territorialidade do povo Krenak num contexto de uma nova ordem constitucional a partir de 1988 resultou no julgamento favorável em 1993. Palavras-chave: Conflitos agrários. Krenak. STAMPS AND SHOTGUNS: the endurance of Indian people Krenak in Brazilian Federal Court jurisprudence ABSTRACT In the 20th century, the Krenak indigenous people had their existence threatened due to measures taken by the State of Minas Gerais. In the 1970s, ownership of indigenous lands was titled in favor of private individuals. In 1993, the Federal Supreme Court ruled on a lawsuit ordering the annulment of property titles. The purpose of this article is to seek clarification about the legality of the Krenak people's trajectory from the analysis of the judgment. The documentary analysis clarified several questions about the legality of events present in the Krenak history. In the 20th century, they lived under the threat of stamps and shotguns. Stamps that refer to state action materialized in property titles, and shotguns, that refer to conflicts with rural producers, and to the actions of the military regime. The territoriality of the Krenak people in the context of a new constitutional order from 1988 resulted in a favorable judgment in 1993. Keywords: Agrarian conflicts. Krenak. Rio Doce Valley.
