Collective Pride and Enlightened Citizenship Behavior at Workplace An Exploratory Study Sunita Singh Sengupta and Mohuwa Bhowal E-mail: sengupta.sunitasingh@gmail.com ABSTRACT The focus of this paper is to explore people’s perception of the two terms ‘Collective Pride’ and ‘Enlightened Citizenship Behaviour’ in the workplace context. The causation of Collective Pride and Enlightened Citizenship Behaviour has also been discussed in the light of currently available related (derived) literature. Due to dearth of direct literature in the area, the findings of the study are likely to enable operationalization of the terms for further inquiry into their role in the creation of happy and harmonious workplaces and development of suitable intervention strategies.
