Subject and source Hymenodictyon floribundum Robinson (Rubiaceae) is a tree growing in the high plateaus of West Cameroon. The trunk barks were collected in the village of Bafou, near the city of Dschang, Cameroon, in February 2001, and identified by Dr L. Zapfack, Department of Plant Biology and Physiology, Faculty of Sciences, Univer- sity of Yaounde ´ I, Cameroon. A voucher specimen (No. 21076/SFR/CAM) was deposited at the National Herbarium of Cameroon, Yaounde ´, Cameroon (YA). 2. Previous work None. * Corresponding author.
