Objective: Paraoxonase (PON) is a high-density-lipoprotein associated enzyme with antioxidative and anti-atherogenic properties. Few studies have evaluated the PON activity in coronary artery disease (CAD) before and after revascularization therapy. We aimed to examine the serum PON and arylesterase activities in patients with CAD undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery (CABG) in comparison with subjects having normal coronary arteries (NCA), and to assess changes in enzyme activities six months after the surgery. Methods: 30 subjects with NCA and 34 patients with CAD under- going CABG were enrolled into the study. Blood samples from patients of the study group were obtained before and 6 months after the surgery, and from the control group immediately after coronary angiography to measure serum PON and arylesterase activities. Their activities were measured by spectrophotometrically. Results: PON and arylesterase activities in the CAD group were lower than the control group (p < 0.05). However, these activities increased nonsignicantly after the CABG surgery (p > 0.05). In addition, there were no signicant differences in PON and arylesterase activities between the CAD group after the surgery and the control group (p > 0.05). Conclusion: PON and arylesterase activity associated with anti- oxidative properties showed insignicant increase after the CABG. - OP-188 Evaluation of Intermediate and Long Term Follow up Results of the Patients Who Underwent Coronary Drug Eluting Stent Implantation. Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the mid and long term MACCE (major advers cardiac and cerebral events) ratio of the patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention and con- cerned coronary artery de novo stented with new generation drug eluting stents. Methodology: We scanned approximately 2150 patients who un- derwent percutaneous coronary intervention between December 2009 and 2013. Four hundered patients in 2150 patients were eligible for study inclusion criteria and were enrolled. The retrospective study was performed on hospital records and then appreciated for death, cere- brovascular event, myocardial enfarctus and target vessel revascular- ization. The MACCE was evaluated by hospital records and telephone contact. Results: Patients were followed for a period of 6-60 months. The average follow up period was 27 months [Ort St.error¼27.8 14.7]. Four hundred patients that included to the study was con- sisting 166 of everolimus (EES), 54 of zotarolimus (ZES), 151 of biolimus (BES) and 29 of combination of these groups. We evalu- ated total and according to the type of the stents MACCE ratio. In EES group; re-M _ I 3 (%1.8), TVR 5 (%3), mortality 1 (%1.9), in BES group; re-M _ I 1(%1.9), TVR 1(%1.9), mortality 1 (%1.9) and in ZES group; re-M _ I 4 (%2.6), TVR 7(%4.6), mortality 6 (%4) were calculated. No serebrovascular event was enrolled during and post- intervention period. Conclusion: The MACCE ratio %7.8 in the group of EES,%5.5 in the group of BES and %11.5 in the group of ZES were measured. When we evaluated the hole data (400 patients) after new generation drug eluting stent implantation, the MACCE ratio was measured %8.25. - OP-189 Recalculated Syntax Score According to Different Vessel Diameter and Stenosis Degree and its Relation with Cardiovascular Events.
