In the analysis, the researchers used a qualitative method along with Fairclough's CDA model. As a result, it implied that Americans looked down on Asian-Americans, Americans took their stress out due to Covid-19 on Asian-Americans, Asian woman were the biggest victim in Asian hate, some Asian-Americans living in the U.S. had low economic levels, and the media had a big role in the development of Asian hate cases. This research result can help more people understand and reduce racism, at least by understanding that human status is the same regardless of race, gender, economy, or religion. © 2022 JELS and the Authors - Published by JELS. INTRODUCTION Racism is an action in which the dominant society denigrates, restricts, or oppresses other communities to reinforce, justify, and maintain a racial hierarchy in a social world (William et al., 2019). As a result, racism increases a set of dynamic, interdependent components or subsystems that cause the creation and maintenance of reciprocal causality of racial inequities across various sectors of society. Consequently, many cases of racism have been reported in the news up to the present day, presenting that there are still many people out there who hold racist beliefs. They categorize other people based on their skin color, nationality, ethnicity, phenotypic or other markers of social difference. In the context of social life in the United States (U.S.), according to Buchanan et al. (2020), racism is still considered a huge humanitarian case. Accordingly, there is a social movement called 'Black Lives Matter' that peaked
