- 496 - CAPITULO 2 / PROPUESTA PARA LA ENSEÑANZA DE LAS MATEMÁTICAS RESUMO: Apresenta-se um recorte de uma pesquisa de Doutorado em Educação Matemática, com a qual procurou-se investigar que elementos, presentes na LPDJHP GH FRQFHLWR relativa à densidade dos números reais, são manifestados por 23 estudantes brasileiros, formandos do Ensino Médio (16-18 anos de idade), na resolução de quatro questões, duas com foco no aspecto numérico da densidade do conjunto dos números reais e as outras duas, no geométrico. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e, para a análise dos dados, teve-se como referencial as ideias de LPDJHP GH FRQFHLWR e de GHILQLomR GH FRQFHLWR dadas por Tall e Vinner (1981) e o construto Miencontrado, presente na teoria dos 7UrV 0XQGRV GD 0DWHPiWLFD, defendida por Tall (2013). A análise das respostas aponta que o conceito de densidade dos números reais não está presente na LPDJHP GH FRQFHLWR dos estudantes participantes e que, em particular, a ideia de sucessor, como definida para os números inteiros, constitui um MiHQFRQWUDGR dificultador para a compreensão da densidade dos números reais. Palavras-chave: números reais, densidade, ensino médio ABSTRACT: This paper presents a review of a PhD research in Mathematics Education, which seeks to investigate which elements, present in the image of the concept about the density of real numbers, are expressed by 23, high school graduates (16to18 age group) Brazilian students in the solution of four question; two focusing on the numerical aspect of the density of a set of real numbers and the other two on geometric aspects. It is a qualitative research and, for the analysis of the data, we had as a reference point, the ideas of image and definition of concept given by Tall and Vinner (1981) and the already-known construct, present in the theory of Three Worlds of Mathematics, defended by Tall (2013). The analysis of the answers points out that the concept of density of real numbers is not present in the image of the concept of the students who were involved, and that, in particular, the idea of successor, as defined for the integers, constitutes an already found constraint for the understanding of the density of real numbers.
