It discovers patterns in large datasets using various data mining algorithms to extract information. These data mining algorithms are extensively used in healthcare industry. Our healthcare industry is becoming inconsistent with respect to diagnosis of diseases because of the increasing complexity of the diseases. Many algorithms are used for prediction of this disease like Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbour etc. Data mining algorithms have proven to successfully predict such diseases using datasets. In this paper we have presented a general study of the most frequently used data mining algorithms in health care specially in predicting heart diseases. General Words 1 / 3
