On the other side, the Project Owner as early needs very much a cost calculation. Therefore, a simple, rapid, practical, accurate cost estimation model-developing technique that produces reliable estimations is needed. In general, the objective of the present research is to present some imput and description on a project’s initial costs as early as possible in a short time with reliably accurate calculation results, intended to analyze and estimate the initial costs of a hotel construction in Bandung City by using a Cost Significant Model Method. The research results showed that structural, architectural, and electrical works have significant effects on the total cost of hotel construction in Bandung City, where 81,60% of the total cost of work was affected by arfchitectural, structural, and electrical works. Its breakdown is as follows: architectural work by 38,54%, structural work 28,52%, and electrical work 14.54%, the remaining being affected by other works. The accuracy of the estimation model of hotel construction by “Cost Significant Model” method in Bandung City varied from - 4,06% to 14,03%, with a mean of 6,98%, whereas the accuracy of the estimation based on a parameter method estimation varied from -0.33% to 33,28%, with a mean of 14,17%. Thus, evidently using “Cost Significant Model” method produced more accurate estimations than building area parameter method did as an initial etimation of hotel construction in Bandung City. Keywords: Cost Estimation, Cost Significant Model, Hotel Construction ABSTRAK Pada permulaan perancangan sebuah proyek biasanya seperti kelengkapan dokumen gambar, spesifikasi teknis dan lain lainnya belum tersusun lengkap, sehingga perhitungan biaya secara akurat tidak mungkin bisa dilakukan. Di satu sisi Pemilik Proyek (Owner) sedini mungkin sangat memerlukan perhitungan biaya. maka diperlukan suatu teknik pembuatan model estimasi biaya yang sederhana, cepat, mudah dan akurat. Secara umum tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk bisa memberikan masukan dan gambaran mengenai anggaran awal proyek sedini mungkin dalam waktu yang singkat dengan hasil perhitungan yang cukup akurat dengan maksud menganalisis dan mengestimasi biaya awal pembangunan hotel di Kota Bandung menggunakan Metode Cost Significant Model. . Hasil penelitian menunjukan pekerjaan struktur, arsitektur dan elektrikal berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap total biaya pembangunan hotel di Kota Bandung, dimana 81,60% biaya total pekerjaan dipengaruhi oleh Pekerjaan Arsitektur, Struktur dan Elektrikal. Perinciannya adalah Pekerjaan Arsitektur 38,54%, Pekerjaan Struktur 28,52% dan Pekerjaan Elektrikal 14,54%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh pekerjaan lain. Akurasi model estimasi pembangunan hotel dengan metode “Cost Significant Model” Di Kota bandung adalah berkisar antara -4,06% sampai dengan 14,03% dengan rata-rata 6,98%, sedangkan akurasi estimasi berdasarkan estimasi metoda parameter berkisar antara -0,33% sampai dengan 33,28% dengan rata-rata 14,17%. Sehingga jelas dengan menggunakan metode “Cost Significant Model” menghasilkan estimasi yang lebih teliti dibandingkan dengan metode parameter luas bangunan sebagai estimasi awal pembangunan hotel di Kota Bandung.
