A VIRTUALIZAÇÃO AO SERVIÇO DA SALVAGUARDA DIGITAL DAS ARQUITETURAS CONVENTUAIS DO CONCELHO DE MONTEMOR‑O‑NOVO Carlos Carpetudo João Marques Resumo: A virtualização do património tem sido uma ferramenta fundamental para o registo e divulgação do património histórico e cultural do concelho de Montemor‑o‑Novo, durante os últimos cinco anos, através da plataforma Morbase. Os conventos têm, entre outros exemplos de património móvel e imóvel, sido alvo de levantamentos digitais através da fotogrametria terrestre e, mais recentemente, da aerofotogrametria. São disso exemplo os levantamentos 3D executados para o Convento de Nossa Senhora da Saudação e para o Convento de Santa Cruz de Rio Mourinho que, por razões diferentes, o seu levantamento 3D e consequente preservação digital é fulcral para a proliferação do seu conhecimento e valorização. VIRTUALISATION AT THE SERVICE OF DIGITAL SAFEGUARDING OF CONVENT ARCHITECTURES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MONTEMOR‑O‑NOVO Abstract: During the last fve years, the digital heritage techniques have been fundamental for the registration and promotion of the historic and cultural heritage of the region of Montemor‑ o‑Novo through the online digital platform Morbase. Among other examples of movable and immovable heritage, the convents have been the object of digital 3D scans through conventional photogrammetry, and more recently, through aerophotogrammetry. Examples of this are the 3D surveys performed for the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Saudação and for the Convent of Santa Cruz de Rio Mourinho. Altough for diferent reasons, its digital scan and consequent digital preservation is central to the proliferation of its knowledge and promotion.
