167 REDESENHO COMO MÉTODO ANALÍTICO E INSTRUMENTO DE INVESTIGAÇÃO EM ARQUITETURA ROGÉRIO AZEVEDO GOMES DeTech da Universidade do Minho Escola de Arquitetura, Portugal Resumo O desenho, no campo disciplinar da arquitetura, é diversas vezes percebido como algo mental, elaborado pelo esquiço e enquadrado no laboratório do projeto da arquitetura, refletido no seu limite de liberdade poética e plástica ou como elemento de representação. Mas, no âmbito de uma pesquisa académica, a utilização do desenho, é pouco observável como um instrumento fundamental numa relação de análise e síntese na investigação de arquitetura. O presente artigo toma como base a minha tese de doutoramento “O Moderno Português na sua expressão tectónica. Anatomia construtiva aplicada à habitação unifamiliar em Portugal, 1948- 1955”. Onde o redesenho é reconhecido como método analítico; apresenta-se ligado à sua especificidade narrativa; torna-se numa ferramenta de análise interpretativa da dissecação do corpo anatómico construtivo da arquitetura, o qual é descodificado em nexos tectónicos; reflete uma síntese ontológica que pressupõe resolução de questões construtivas da arquitetura moderna portuguesa. O redesenho assume-se como ferramenta do investigador e também é considerado como um resultado do trabalho de investigação. Palavra chave: (Re)desenho; Investigação; Arquitetura Abstract In the disciplinary field of architecture, drawing is often perceived as something mental, given light by a draft and framed in the laboratory of the architecture project, reflected in its limits of poetic and plastic freedom or as an element of representation. But within the scope of an academic research, the use of drawing is hardly observable as a fundamental instrument in a relation of analysis and synthesis in architectural research. This article builds on my PhD thesis "Portuguese Modern in its tectonic expression. Constructive anatomy applied to single-family housing in Portugal, 1948-1955". Where redrawing is recognized as an analytical method; is linked to its narrative specificity; it becomes an interpretative analysis tool for dissecting the constructive anatomical body of architecture, which is decoded in tectonic principles; reflects an ontological synthesis that presupposes resolution of constructive questions of modern Portuguese architecture. Redrawing is assumed as the researcher's tool and is also considered as a result of the research work.
