Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Block-JD, Sec-III, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700098 * E-mail: ranjit@bose.res.in Abstract Steady state and time-resolved fluorescence measurements have been carried out for deep eutectic (acetamide + electrolyte) molten mixtures in the temperature range, ~303 – 348 K. These measurements indicate presence of pronounced medium heterogeneity in solution structure and viscosity decoupling of solute solvation and rotation rates. These results are reminiscent of findings in deeply supercooled liquids near glass transition.
