80 STUDENT SATISFACTION ON ONLINE LEARNING AMONG STML STUDENTS IN UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA (UUM) Nuur Shasha Ezzwanis Binti Mazlan 1 and Mohd Zainudin Bin Othman 2 1,2 School of Technology Management & Logistics, College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia, 06010 Sintok, Kedah nuur_shasha@stml.uum.edu.com 1 , zainudin@uum.edu.my 2 Abstract: This study aimed to identify the factors that influence the student satisfaction on online learning among STML (School of Technology Management and Logistics) of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in Sintok, Kedah. A total of 100 students, selected from STML students specializing in Operation Management, Technology Management and, Logistics and Transportation Management who have used online learning participated in this study. By using quantitative research method, the data is collected through questionnaires, contains 41 items using a Likert scale. The findings show that the level of student satisfaction of online learning is slightly more influenced by the benefits of use or usefulness which students obtain from online earning as well as enhances the effectiveness of learning and saving time. Hence, this study provides important information for future research to create the other factors that can investigate at other universities in order to improve the online learning system effectiveness. Keywords: Student, satisfaction, online learning, STML, Universiti Utara Malaysia INTRODUCTION The scope of this research is focused on Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML), College of Business (COB) students only and isn't involving all of the students in UUM or the students from the other colleges. This paper aim to examine the factors that influence STML student satisfaction towards online learning as students had been complaining about the problem to log in to the UUM online learning especially during peak hours. In this study, six factors have been adapted to theories, models and previous studies related to online learning acceptance. Two factors are perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use adapted from TAM (Davis, 1989) while quality of systems and quality of information are adapted from the Information Systems Success Model (DeLone & McLean, 2003) and the supporting factor of lecturers and technical support adapted from previous studies such as Sun, Tsai, Finger, Chen, and Yeh (2008) and Selim (2007). METHODOLOGY Quantitative methods were used to collect the data. An online survey has been designed adapted from literature review that was taken from the past research, article, journal, book and websites as references. A total of 100 students, selected from STML students specializing in Operation Management, Technology Management and, Logistics and Transportation Management who have used online learning participated in this study. The collected data was analysed using SPSS version 25.0 software (Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 25.0).
