Penelitian menggunakan 105 ekor G. domesticus. 25 ekor sebagai induk pengeraman, 5 ekor dari 20 ekor secara bergantian sebagai induk kontrol dan 50 ekor sebagai induk petelur serta 10 ekor G. domesticus jantan. Pengamatan dilakukan selama tiga periode mengeram. Dari hasil analisis Chi square dengan derajat kepercayaaan 95 % (p<0,05) bantuan SPSS v 16, menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan telur yang menetas antara induk penetasan pada perlakuan kontrol, induk 1, induk 2, induk 3, induk 4 sampai dengan induk 25 tidak nyata sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa baik induk kontrol maupun induk pengeraman mempunyai daya tetas yang sama. Multi-pengeraman G. domesticus dapat dilakukan sampai tiga periode pengeraman secara berkelanjutan tanpa menunggu waktu jeda dan periode bertelur, hal ini akan mempermudah para peternak tradisional. Sehingga teknik ini lebih efektif dan efesien dan akan memberikan keuntungan yang lebih optimal. Kata kunci: Gallus domesticus, Multi-Pengeraman, Daya Tetas ABSTRACT The design of the research is true experimental research which employs simple random sampling. This research applied 105 broody hens which were then divided into 25 brooding hens, 5 from 20 controlling hens respectively, 50 layer hens, and 10 males G. domesticus. Based on the analysis in chi square with confidence level 95% (p<0,05) by applying SPSS V 16 showed that there were no significant differences between hatching eggs from five controlling hens. Therefore, the researcher concludes that both of the brooding hens and controlling hens have the same hatchability. Multiple brooding of village fowl G. domesticus can be applied up to three periods of brooding continually. This technique of course helps traditional livestock farmers effectively and efficiently.
