Edição especial, vol. 9, 2018 Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras | Universidade Federal do Maranhão 77 ISSN 2177-8868 ESTUDO DA DIDÁTICA UTILIZADA NO APRENDIZADO DA LITERATURA PARA SURDOS NA REGIÃO METROPOLITANA DE BELÉM Letícia Gomes Costa 1 Wanúbya do Nascimento Moraes Campelo 2 Resumo: Este trabalho tem como escopo identificar alguns dos métodos de ensino aplicados pelos docentes de literatura nas instituições de ensino em que há a presença de discentes com surdez. Cândido (1972) em um de seus artigos identifica três funções exercidas pela literatura, que definiram sua “função humanizadora”: a psicológica, a formadora e a social. Dessa forma, realizou-se um acompanhamento das aulas e posteriormente, aplicou-se um estudo qualitativo com professores e alunos, em uma escola municipal de Belém do PA, por meio de entrevista semi estruturada para verificar o desempenho dos discentes em relação ao método de ensino de literatura aplicado em sala pelo docente. Com isso, procuramos propor um modelo otimizado para didática da literatura nesta Instituição. Palavras-chave: Literatura para Surdos. Didática. Educação Especial. Aprendizado da Literatura. Abstract: The goal of this study is to identify some of the teaching methods applied by literature teachers in educational institutions where there are students with deafness. Candide (1972) in one of his articles identifies three functions exercised by literature, which defined its "humanizing function": the psychological, the formative and the social. In this way, a follow-up of the classes was carried out and a qualitative study with teachers and students was carried out at school in Belém, PA, through a semi- structured interview to verify the students' performance in relation to the method of teaching of literature applied in the classroom by the teacher. With this, we try to propose an optimized model for didactics of the literature in this Institution. Keywords: Literature for Deafs. Didactics. Special education. Literature Learning. 1 Considerações iniciais A Literatura é de suma importância para o desenvolvimento de qualquer indivíduo e ao se tratar de alunos com surdez ainda hoje se nota grandes barreiras para o ensino desta disciplina a esses alunos educandos.
