Information systems architecture can be describe as a model or a structure design of components which are involved in an organization that supports the organization’s business aims. EAP provides guidance of the steps needed to construct the information systems architecture and divides it into data, processes or applications, and technology aspects. In practice, EAP needs a standard artifacts. These matters can be overcome by the support of the Zachman Framework. The Zachman framework provides artifacts which can be used in documenting information systems architecture. An artifact is a collection of documented architectural description. The coverage of this studies is the EAP method and its correlation with the artifacts of the Zachman framework. The mapping of these artifacts to the layers of EAP is done by analyzing the activity goals of each layer of EAP, which is then documented based on the suitable Zachman artifacts. Based on these studies, steps for developing information systems architecture based on EAP method which use the Zachman artifacts is suggested. The suggestion of these steps if used to define information systems architecture from the planner, owner and designers perspective, by putting forward defining architecture aspects which provides information needed to define other architecture aspects. Latar Belakang Kurikulum Peran informasi sebagai salah satu sumber daya strategis suatu organisasi menjadi sangat penting dalam pencapaian visi dan misi organisasi. Salah satu kunci sukses untuk menghasilkan informasi yang berkualitas dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pelaku organisasi adalah keberadaan suatu peta kebutuhan informasi. Arsitektur Sistem Informasi sebagai landasan pengembangan sistem informasi organisasi mutlak diperlukan. Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) adalah salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan dalam pembuatan Arsitektur Sistem Informasi. Metode EAP ini dibuat oleh Steven Spewak dan telah diakui kehandalannya, khususnya pada bidang bisnis (8). Arsitektur Sistem Informasi adalah sebuah paradigma dalam membangun sistem informasi enterprise. Arsitektur ini menggambarkan sistem dari beberapa sudut pandang dan menunjukkan keterkaitannya. Hal ini dibutuhkan untuk membangun sebuah sistem yang terintegrasi (1). Kerangka kerja Zachman (Zachman Framework) merupakan salah satu standar arsitektur sistem informasi. Tujuan utama dari kerangka kerja ini adalah memberikan skema klasifikasi produk sistem informasi yang menggambarkan jenis rancangan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan perangkat lunak (5). Akan tetapi, kerangka kerja Zachman tidak memberikan suatu panduan metodologi untuk mendapatkan skema tersebut. EAP sendiri merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat arsitektur sistem informasi yang ditunjukan oleh kerangka kerja Zachman. Arsitektur sistem informasi yang dikembangkan mengacu pada kerangka kerja Zachman dengan metode pengembangan yang berasal dari metode EAP.
