As FOCAC attained a 20-year milestone in its existence, it has become one of the most important podiums for all cooperation between China and African states. Since the foundation of FOCAC 20 years ago, some tremendous strides have been achieved; these include comprehensive development of China-Africa relations, provision of critical development infrastructures such as roads, seaports, airports, railway Journal of African Foreign Affairs (JoAFA) ISSN 2056-5658 (Online) ISSN 2056-564X (Print) Indexed by: IBSS, JSTOR, EBSCO, ProQuest, J-Gate and Sabinet Volume 9, Number 2, August 2022 pp 25 - 43
