Ourintentwiththisgraphistoreflectoversome questionsandsituationsaffectingwomenglob- ally;wechoosesomeaspects;wehavechosen someproblemswhichaffectimmigrantwomen crossingthebordertotheU.S.,aswellasprob- lemstheyfacedailylivingintheUnitedStates,for exampleatschoolandinthecommunity.Wehave alsoincludedanotherrealityofcurrentimpor- tanceasnewpaternitiesandit’srelationshipwith educationalpractice,whichdemands,astheau- thorsindicate,thetrainingofmale-orienteded- ucators,giventheacknowledgedlackofalterna- tivemalemodels.Asafinalthoughtwepropose thetrainingofuniversitystudentsinmattersof genderasapartofSocialEducation.TheUni- versityasacenterofexpressionanddevelopment ofknowledge,accordingtoresearchbyPerezSer- ranoandSarrateCapdevila(2013)isaninstitution highlyvaluedbythestudentsasitfacilitatesthe promotionofcultureandsocialvalues,aswell asinclusiveeducation. Overalltheimportanceofeducationandpro- fessionaltrainingofeducationalfeaturesthroughout thesetexts,withtheintenttomakethedevelopment ofhumanrightsvisible,andtocarryoutactionsfa- voringequalityindifferentcontextsandsocialreal- Conestemonográficopretendemosreflexionarso- brealgunascuestionesysituacionesqueafectana lasmujeresentodoelmundo;recogemosalgunos aspectosdelasproblemáticasalasquesetienen queenfrentarlasmujeresinmigrantestantoenel pasodelafronteraaEEUU,comodurantesuvida cotidianaenestepaís,enlaescuelayenlacomuni- dad.Tambiénincluimosotrarealidaddeplenaac- tualidadcomolasnuevaspaternalidadesysuvin- culaciónconelejercicioprofesionaleducativo,que reclama,comoindicansusautores,formaciónengé- neroorientadahacialoshombreseducadores,dada lareconocidafaltademodelosmasculinosalterna- tivos.Comoreflexiónfinalplanteamoslaformación engénerodelalumnadouniversitariodelGradoen EducaciónSocial.PueslaUniversidad,comocen- trodeexpresiónydedesarrollodelconocimiento, deacuerdoconlainvestigaciónrealizadaporPé- rezSerranoySarrateCapdevila(2013)esunainsti- tuciónbienvaloradaporelalumnadopuestoquefa- cilitalapromociónculturalysociolaboral,alavezque impulsaunaeducacióndecarácterinclusivo.
