Methods used in these activities is the application of methods Ipteks Education through the delivery of material through the method of information about activities of the rehabilitation efforts of coral reef ecosystems to the target audience of the follow through artificial reef technology, and the training method is through the implementation of the manufacturing activities of coral artificial, haunted, and raft. Making the basic material of artificial reefs is a used car tires tied to form a triangle tires. Monitoring activities carried out 2 months after the splashdown in various types of fish that have used loopholes and surface car tires as well as a shelter looking for food. This continued to be held as ecological processes that will occur so that the initial function of artificial reefs that will serve as a fish nestt; and can be rehabilitated reef ecosystems that have been damaged will be realized. Keywords: artificial reefs, fish, triangle tires Abstrak Penerapan terumbu buatan pada perairan Desa Rutong sangat baik dilakukan dalam menunjang proses rehabilitasi terumbu karang yang telah mendapat tekanan khususnya untuk sumberdaya ikan karang. Metoda yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penerapan Ipteks ini yaitu Metode Pendidikan melalui penyampaian materi melalui metode penyuluhan tentang kegiatan upaya rehabilitasi ekosistem terumbu karang kepada seluruh khalayak sasaran antara yang mengikuti melalui teknologi terumbu buatan, dan Metode Pelatihan yaitu melalui implementasi kegiatan pembuatan terumbu buatan, angker, dan rakit. Material dasar pembuatan terumbu buatan adalah ban mobil bekas yang diikat membentuk segitiga ban. Kegiatan monitoring dilaksanakan 2 bulan setelah proses penceburan ditemukan berbagai jenis ikan yang telah memanfaatkan celah dan permukaan ban mobil sebagai tempat berlindung juga mencari makan. Hal ini terus akan berlangsung seiring proses ekologis yang akan terjadi sehingga fungsi awal terumbu buatan yang akan dijadikan sebagai tempat ”sarang ikan” dan dapat merehabilitasi ekosistem terumbu karang yang telah rusak akan terwujud.
