Karena sebuah teknologi informasi sering dikaitkan dengan suatu penemuan baru yang lebih mempermudah dari penemuan lama. Contohnya walaupun penemuan yang sudah sangat lama misalnya seperti roda, maka masih juga disebut sebuah teknologi karena lebih memudahkan dari yang lama berupa alat yang dibuat dari kayu. Setiap saat, mungkin kita tidak akan pernah lepas dari perannya sebuah teknologi informasi. Dari contoh kecilnya yaitu disaat kita memakai sebuah Handphone dalam hal untuk menjelajah jaringan social, Handphone tersebut merupakan salah satu dari jenis teknologi informasi yang lain selain dari TV, Komputer, dan perangkat elektronik lainnya dalam rumah tangga. Tulisan ini merupakan hasil tinjauan berdasarkan pengalaman penulis selama menekuni sebagai Aparatur Sipil Negara atau Pegawai Negeri Sipil selama kurang lebih 32 tahun. Karena begitu pentingnya Teknologi dan Informasi sebagai sarana pendukung dalam menyelesaikan tugas sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penulisan ini dengan maksud mengungkapkan pengalaman, mengungkapkan perkembangan dari Informasi dan Teknologi yang penulis rasakan sampai saat ini. Manfaat dari tulisan ini meberikan kesan kepada penulis khususnya, karena Teknologi Informasi yang penulis kenal saat awalnya mengenal Teknologi Komputer misalnya sampai saat ini begitu pesatnya dan terasa bahwa begitu berdampak pada cara pandang seseorang dalam menyikapi hidup saat ini terutama menggerakkan lajunya birokrasi dan akan terus berkembang sampai waktu-waktu yang akan datang.
