Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian post test only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPS SMAN 1 Gubug. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas X IPS 1, X IPS 2, X IPS 3. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa (1) pembelajaran POGIL dan MEA dapat tuntas klasikal dan individual; (2) terdapat pengaruh keaktifan siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kelas POGIL sebesar 43% dan kelas MEA sebesar 56%; (3) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa antara ketiga model pembelajaran tersebut; (4) pembelajaran POGIL berbantuan Question Card lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional; (5) pembelajaran MEA berbantuan Question Card lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional; (6) tidak terdapat perbedaan model pembelajaran POGIL dan MEA. Kata Kunci: POGIL; MEA; Question Card; Kemampuan Pemecahan masalah ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Question Card-assisted POGIL learning model, the Question Card-assisted MEA learning model, and the conventional learning model on problem-solving abilities. This type of research is quantitative with post test only control design research design. The population in this study were all students of class X IPS at SMAN 1 Gubug. Sampling using cluster random sampling technique. The research sample was class X IPS 1, X IPS 2, X IPS 3. The data collection techniques used were documentation and problem solving ability tests. The results of the study state that (1) POGIL and MEA learning can be completed both classically and individually; (2) there is an effect of student activeness on problem-solving abilities in the POGIL class by 43% and the MEA class by 56%; (3) there are differences in students' mathematical problem solving abilities between the three learning models; (4) Question Card-assisted POGIL learning is better than conventional learning; (5) Question Card-aided MEA learning is better than conventional learning; (6) there is no difference between the POGIL and MEA learning models.
