UMKM memberikan peran yang sangat penting dalam perekonomian nasional. Provinsi Jawa Timur memiliki salah satu UMKM yang bergerak dalam industri pembuatan batik cap dan batik tulis yang terletak di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Terdapat permasalahan yang dialami oleh UMKM batik yang ada di Kabupaten Bangkalan yaitu sulitnya bersaing dengan pengrajin batik dari daerah lain. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi daya saing dari suatu bisnis yaitu kemampuan usaha, produk, infrastruktur, iptek, sumberdaya, kebijakan pemerintah, dan dukungan eksternal. Data diambil dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada pemilik UMKM batik di Kabupaten Bangkalan sebanyak 20 orang. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode SEM-PLS. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menunjukan bahwa nilai R Square sebesar 74,8% pada variabel daya saing (Dy) dipengaruhi oleh sumber daya, infrastruktur, produk, IPTEK, kemampuan usaha, dukungan eksternal, kebijakan pemerintah dan 50,7% variable kemampuan bersaing (Kb) yang dipengaruhi oleh daya saing (Dy). Dimana ada empat faktor yang bernilai postif yaitu sumber daya, infrasturktur, kemampuan usaha, dan produk. Serta terdapat tiga faktor yang bernilai negatif yaitu kebijakan pemerintah, dukungan eksternal, dan iptek. Kata Kunci: Daya saing, UMKM, Batik, Structural Equation Modelling, Partial Least Square ABSTRACT The economy in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly which is supported by the growth of UMKM in various regions. UMKM plays a very important role in the national economy. East Java Province has one of the UMKM which is engaged in the manufacture of stamped batik and hand made batik which is located in Bangkalan Regency. There are problems experienced by UMKM batik in Bangkalan Regency, namely the difficulty of competing with batik craftsmen from other regions. Several factors affect the competitiveness of a business, namely business capabilities, products, infrastructure, science and technology, resources, government policies, and external support. The data was taken from the distribution of questionnaires to the owners of UMKM batik in Bangkalan Regency as many as 20 people. Data processing was carried out using the SEM-PLS method. Based on the results of data processing shows that the R Square value of 74.8% on the competitiveness variable (Dy) is influenced by resources, infrastructure, products, science and technology, business capabilities, external support, government policies, and 50.7% of the competitive ability variable (Kb) which is influenced by competitiveness (Dy). Where four factors have a positive value, namely resources, infrastructure, business capabilities, and products. And three factors have negative values, namely government policies, external support, and science and technology.
