Usually snacks made traditionally using well water is are hygienic, and the microbiological, one of wich is the Staphylococcus aureus. This study aims to identify Staphylococcus aureus in drink sold in SDN 147 and SDN 188 Air Putih Subdistrict Tampan District, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted by culture or planting method on Brain Heart Infusion (BHI) media. The colonies that grew on the media were tested for Gram Staining, Blood Agar using Blood Agar Plate (BAP) media, Catalase test, Stephaurex Test and test on Manitol Salt Agar (MSA) media. The results showed that the colonies grown on Brain Heart Infusion (BHI) media from 10 samples of 6 positive samples that were seen from cloudy color, Gram-negative staining, negative blood agar test, negative catalase, negative Stephaurex test, and those that grew on MSA media were bright yellow colonies. The results of this study indicate that of the 10 samples studied there were 6 positive samples that did not contain the Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. . Keywords: snack, Staphylococcus aureus, planting method ABSTRAK Makanan jajanan banyak digemari oleh anak-anak Sekolah Dasar, namun mereka tidak menyadari bahaya yang ditimbulkan oleh minuman jajanan yang tidak higienis,salah satunya bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi Staphylococcus aureus pada minuman jajanan yang dijual di SDN 147 dan SDN 188 Kelurahan Air Putih Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kultur atau penanaman pada media pengkayaan, dilanjutkan dengan penanaman pada media Brain Heart Infusion (BHI). Koloni yang tumbuh pada media tersebut diuji Pewarnaan Gram, Agar Darah menggunakan media Blood Agar Plate (BAP), uji Katalase, Tes Stephaurex dan uji pada media Manitol Salt Agar (MSA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koloni yang tumbuh pada media Brain Heart Infusion (BHI) dari 10 sampel 6 sampel positif yang terlihat dari warna keruh, Pewarnaan Gram negatif, uji Agar Darah negatif, Katalase negatif, tes Stephaurex negatif, dan yang tumbuh pada media MSA adalah koloni berwarna kuning cerah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 sampel yang diteliti terdapat 6 sampel yang positif tidak mengandung bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. .
