RESUMEN Dinamizar el vínculo universidad-sociedad es un reto para las IES en China, por este motivo resul- ta vital el desarrollo de investigaciones que aporten en este campo de estudio y que permitan un des- envolvimiento coherente de los egresados entre los objetivos sociales y personales en función del de- sarrollo del país. El estudio acerca de la gestión de los procesos sustantivos, en particular proceso del Extensión universitaria contribuirá a los objetivos de desarrollo de la nación asiática, es por ello que el objetivo del presente trabajo es el análisis del proce- so de extensión universitaria en China, con énfasis en la Universidad Internacional de Heilongjiang. Se realizó una investigación mixta concurrente, con el empleo de métodos teóricos y empíricos, a partir de la cual se caracterizó la situación actual del proceso extensionista en la IES, en función de los resultados obtenidos en la Facultad de Lenguas Occidentales de la Universidad Internacional de Heilongjiang. El análisis de los resultados obtenidos posibilitará me- jorar las proyecciones de la institución en función del proceso extensionista, la formación integral del estudiante y la sociedad y estar acorde a las exigen- cias del entorno político, cultural, social y educativo. ABSTRACT Enhancing the university-society link is a challenge for HEIs in China, for this reason it is vital to develop research that contributes to this field of study and that allows a coherent development of graduates between social and personal objectives based on development from the country. The study about the management of substantive processes, in particu- lar the University Extension process, will contribute to the development objectives of the Asian nation, that is why the objective of this work is the analy- sis of the university extension process in China, with emphasis at Heilongjiang International University. A concurrent mixed investigation was carried out, with the use of theoretical and empirical methods, from which the current situation of the extension process in the IES was characterized, based on the results obtained in the Faculty of Western Languages of the International University of Heilongjiang. The analysis of the results obtained will make it possible to im- prove the projections of the institution based on the extension process, the comprehensive training of the student and society and be in accordance with the demands of the political, cultural, social and educa- tional environment.
