Art and Interpretation Araştırma Makalesi / Research Article Türk Mûsikî Çalgılarının ve Roman Kültüründeki Çalgı Geleneğinin Posta Pulları Üzerinden Değerlendirilmesi Evaluation of Turkish Musical Instruments and Instrument Tradition in Gypsy Culture on Postage Stamps ÖZ Türk Musiki Çalgılarını ve Roman kültüründeki çalgı geleneğini posta pulu üzerinden görselleştirerek sunmayı ve yeniden sentezleyerek farklı bir formda ele almayı amaçlamıştır. Geleneksel Türk müziği açısından yapılan sınıfamaya göre kullanılan çalgı türleri; telli (yaylı), nefesli ve vurmalı çalgıları kapsamaktadır. Bu nedenle çalışma, bu üç çalgı türüyle ve Posta İdaresi tarafından bu alanda basılmış olan posta pullarıyla sınırlandırılmıştır. Çalışma nicel araştırma yöntemlerin- den betimsel yöntem üzerinden ilerletilmiş, esasını ise yazılı ve görsel kaynaklar oluşturmuştur. Ülkemizin milli çalgısı konumunda olan Davul ve Zurna bütün bölgelerde kullanılan en başta gelen enstrümanlardır. Bunun yanı sıra Saz ve Bağlama kültürü de son derece yaygınlık göstermektedir. Zaman içerisinde bazı çalgılar unutulmaya yüz tutarken, bazılarının kullanımı daha lokal kalmış, bazılarının yerini ise Batı tarzı çalgılar almıştır. Bu çalışmayla birlikte Geleneksel Türk çalgılarını ve Roman kültüründeki çalgı geleneğini konu alan nostaljik bir pul albümü yayınlanabilir. Araştırmanın sonraki süreçte, göstergebilimsel analiz yöntemleriyle oluşturulacak organoloji, Roman kültürü ve pul konulu çalışmalara kaynak teşkil edeceği düşünülmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Çalgılar, organoloji, posta pulu, Roman kültürü, Türk mûsikîsi ABSTRACT This study aimed to present the Turkish Musical Instruments and the instrument tradition in the Gypsy culture by visualizing it on a postage stamp and to re-synthesize it in a different form. According to the classifcation made in terms of traditional Turkish music, the types of instru- ments used include stringed, wind, and percussion instruments. As a consequence, the study is limited to these three types of instruments and the postage stamps issued by the Postal Administration in this feld. The study has been advanced through the descriptive method, one of the quantitative research methods, and written and visual sources have formed its basis. Drum and zurna, which are the national instruments of our country, are the foremost instruments used in all regions. In addition, saz and baglama culture is also very common. While some instruments have been forgotten over time, the use of some has remained more local, and some of them have been replaced by Western-style instruments. With this work, a nostalgic stamp album can be published on traditional Turkish instruments and the instrument tradition in Gypsy culture. It is also thought that the research will be a source for studies on organology, Gypsy culture and stamps to be created with semiotic analysis methods in the next period.
