The purpose of this study was to determine whether Usefulness
affects customer interest in transacting using mobile banking at Bank
Sumsel Babel Syariah. This type of research is field research, namely
direct observation of the object under study in order to obtain
relevant data. The method used in this research is to use quantitative
analysis research methods, namely using in-depth data analysis in
the form of numbers. The author collects data in several stages,
namely: Observation, interviews, and literature study. The source of
data used in this study is primary data and uses a questionnaire as a
data collection technique to be studied. The sample used in this study
is UIN Raden Fatah Palembang students who use Mobile Banking.
The population in this study were students who used mobile banking
services, amounting to 30 diverse respondents. The result of this
research is it is known that the value of Fcount = 11.259 with a
significance level of 0.003 <0.05, the regression model can be used to
predict the interest variable or in other words there is an effect of
Usefulness (X) on the interest variable (Y). The X regression
coefficient of 0.727 states that for every 1% increase in the Usefulness
value, the Interest value increases by 0.727. The regression coefficient
is positive, so it can be said that the direction of the influence of the X
variable on Y is positive.

1. PENDAHULUAN
Dewasa ini, bank telah memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam layanan perbankannya dengan
meluncurkan media layanan transaksi perbankan berbasis teknologi informasi, yaitu mobile banking (m-
banking). Layanan m-banking membuka kesempatan bagi nasabah untuk melakukan transaksi
perbankan melalui perangkat handphone atau Personal Data Assistant (PDA).
Mobile banking adalah fasilitas layanan dalam pemberian kemudahaan akses maupun kecepatan
dalam memperoleh informasi terkini dan transaksi financial secara real time. Mobile banking dapat
diakses oleh nasabah perorangan melalui ponsel yang memiliki teknologi GPRS. Produk layanan mobile
