This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were teachers and third grade students of SDN 1 Ketileng, Todanan District, Blora Regency. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, tests, and observations. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the students' multiplication ability had increased which could be seen from the results of each cycle. This can be seen from the percentage of students' complete scores who reach > 65 (KKM). In the pre-cycle the number of students who completed there were 45%. In the first cycle the number of students who completed there were 65% an increase of 18%. In Cycle I to Cycle II to 82% an increase of 19%. It can be seen from the results of Cycle II, the number of students who obtained a complete score > 65 at least 80% has been achieved. Keywords: Ability to Understand Multiplication Story Problems, RME Method Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memahami soal cerita perkalian siswa kelas III SDN 1 Ketileng menggunakan pendekatan RME (Realistic Mathematics Education). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan repleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas III SDN 1 Ketileng Kecamatan Todanan Kabupaten Blora. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan perkalian siswa mengalami peningkatan yang dapat dilihat dari masing-masing hasil siklus. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari presentase nilai tuntas siswa yang mencapai > 65 (KKM). Pada pra siklus jumlah siswa yang tuntas ada 45%. Pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas ada 65% mengalami peningkatan sebesar 18%. Pada Siklus I ke Siklus II menjadi 82% mengalami peningkatan 19%. Dapat dilihat dari hasil Siklus II, jumlah siswa yang memperoleh nilai tuntas > 65 minimal 80% telah tercapai. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Memahmi Soal Cerita Perkalian, Metode RME
