Com base no objeto investigado, traz igualmente para o debate perspectivas de trabalhos recentes ancoradas na noção de “cenas musicais” e apresenta potenciais analíticos e metodológicos a partir do que Raymond Williams chamou de “formação cultural”. Palavras-chave: Metá Metá; Nova MPB, música independente; cena musical, formação cultural Abstract: Part of an ongoing post-doctoral research about the Paulista musical group Metá Metá, this article proposes to discuss some issues around the ideas of “New MPB” and “independent music” in this 21st century, under the advent of the internet. Based on the object investigated, it also brings to the debate the perspective of recent works anchored in the notion of “music scenes” and presents analytical-methodological potentials based on what Raymond Williams called “cultural formation”.
