(0755) 20565 e-mail: ummy.ac.id ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the efforts of the Office of Small, Medium, Industry and Trade Cooperatives (DKUKMPP) of Solok Regency in Developing the Potential of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. In this researcher, the research method used is qualitative data. Qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The population in this study was eight (8) people and the samples in this study were the overall efforts of Department of Business Cooperatives, Small and Medium Industry and Trade (DKUKMPP) of Solok Regency in Developing the Potential of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in 2020-2021. The results of the study indicate that the efforts of the Office of Small, Medium, Industry and Trade Cooperatives (DKUKMPP) of Solok Regency in developing MSMEs have been running optimally. The strategy that has been formulated has even been implemented as expected. However, the efforts of MSMEs are still faced with various problems that hinder the implementation of these business developments. The results of the initial phase of the research show that overall the Office of Small, Medium, Industry and Trade Cooperatives (DKUKMPP) of Solok Regency has formulated a strategy formulation to empower and develop MSMEs through training, counseling, and policies. Meanwhile, in the participatory phase, the level of community participation in programs or activities carried out by the Office of Small, Medium, Industry and Trade Cooperatives (DKUKMPP) of Solok Regency is quite high. This is marked by the interest and participation of large MSME actors in each training/extension held. Meanwhile, the emancipatory phase shows that the development of MSMEs in Solok Regency has been growing.
