Perhatian pada ruang isolasi di rumah sakit, terutama terkait desain dan juga fungsi mental healing bagi pasien. Di sisi lain masih ada hal yang belum banyak digali terkait pengamatan fungsi jiwa mood dan afek melalui pendekatan non psikiatri atau pendekatan fisiologi. Emotiv dipergunakan sebagai alat pengamatan fisiologi otak berbasis, sistem EEG (Electroencephalography). Emotiv menerapkan metode perekaman, aktifitas gelombang kelistrikan otak tanpa invasi jaringan, yaitu pemasangan elektroda pada permukaan kulit kepala. Gelombang kelistrikan ini muncul seiring aktivitas sel-sel otak. Secara keseluruhan, tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk memberikan penjelasan teoritis mengenai perangkat emotive untuk konteks penelitian dan eksperimen terkait mood dan afek pasien saat mendapatkan perawatan inap di ruang isolasi COVID-19. Penulisan ini merupakan review literatur dengan menggunakan beberapa sumber Pustaka serta hasil penelitian terkait alat EEG, alat emotiv, dan fungsi jiwa mood dan afek. Semua sumber literatur akan disimpulkan dan disusun secara teoritis. Hasil yang akan diharapkan adalah penjelasan secara teoritis yang berurutan dan jelas terkait pemanfaatan emotiv pada pengamatan mood afek terhadap desain interior ruang isolasi. Kata kunci: Emotiv, Mood, Afek, Desain, Ruang Isolasi ABSTRACT The increasing number of cases of COVID-19 has given directions for hospitals must have isolation inpatient rooms. Attention to isolation rooms in hospitals, especially regarding the design and function of mental healing for patients. On the other hand, there are still not many things related to the observation of the soul, mood and affect through non-psychiatric or physiological approaches. Emotiv is used as a physiological brain observation tool based on the EEG (Electroencephalography) system. Emotiv applies the method of brain electric wave activity without the network, namely the installation of electrodes on the surface of the scalp. These electrical waves appear with the activity of brain cells. Overall, the purpose of this paper is to provide a theoretical explanation of emotional devices for the context of research and experiments related to mood and affective patients when receiving treatment in the COVID-19 isolation room. This writing is a literature review using several literature sources as well as research results related to EEG tools, emotive tools, and mood and affective mental functions. All literature sources will be compiled and compiled theoretically. The expected result is a theoretical explanation of and explaining the use of emotions in observing the affective mood of the isolation room interior design.
